Welcome to Woodland Cemetery
Visitors are most welcome to the Cemetery, but as we may have a service in progress or other commitments during the day, we ask that you make an appointment beforehand in order to avoid being inconvenienced. Please telephone or email the lodge to arrange a suitable time and date.
Set in tranquil countryside the Woodland Cemetery offers full burial or ashes plots in a peaceful, private location.
We offer the freedom to choose rather than have a plot allocated in any of our separately named gardens. These comprise cut lawns bound by natural grassland with maturing trees.
Although on the edge of the countryside the cemetery benefits from excellent access being only a few minutes from the main A580 linking Manchester and Liverpool.
